Summary

Pair different age groups, and let the older children create very simple German or English stories or resources for younger ones. The simplicity may aid with additional language learning. Similarly - any activities, games and stories we share with the other class may be at their right language level.

Our Project Aims
1. To meet and say hello. Children from Germany to respond to English children´s questions by writing simple letters.
2. The German children will tell the English class simple classroom words and simple every day phrases.
3. The German children will listen to and read a traditional English story, told on video by the English children. They will translate this into German, and read it out loud for the English children, so they hear it in German.
4. Irina and her class will tell a traditional German story in English for the children to listen to.
5. As the German class are learning about wild animals, the English children will tell some poems from ´Rumble in the Jungle´.
6. Both schools will present our shared stories and rhymes from both schools in a whole school or class assembly.
