Hi, my name is Linda and I work in a large primary school in the centre of Chippenham. Chippenham is a market town in North Wiltshire.
I teach a year 6 class. There are 30 10/11 year olds who are excited about working on the project. They have no German language knowledge, but are keen to begin learning.

Hello, my name is Karina Kannenberg and I´m a teacher at the Grund- und Hauptschule in Hemmingen (near Stuttgart). Hemmingen is a modern village which is known for the development of porsche cars.
I teach English in first grade( 29 pupils, 6/7 years old) and fifth grade (20 pupils, 10/11 years old).
My team teacher, Ulrike Bürger, which teaches second grade ( 26 pupils,7/8 years old)and I are looking forward to excange some ideas of typical german and english topics to experience the different languages and customs.
In Germany we officially started teaching English in first grade this school-year. Two years ago, our school started teaching English in elementry school with projects, so we were already able to make some experiences in teaching English.
