Please share your thoughts of the first day. We're particularly
interested to hear your concerns, questions and observations about
building an international dimension in your teaching. We'd also
welcome your thoughts about the Global Gateway and eLanguages.

I injoy the first day I met some of old friend like Mr. Khaled and I
think I can use the pograms in my work as Islamic Teacher .
Re: Your impressions

The concept is brilliant. I wish there had been internet when I was
a student. The possibilities for gateway are immense and the
approach used by the two presenters are just right.

Its very imformative and interesting, I think it builds creativity
for both sides as teachers and students, learn each others cultures
and languages and builds confidence.

At the beginning I wasn't sure this would be useful however it has
moved on quickly and now I can see more clearly how this resource
can be used by any classroom teacher just by changing the
objectives. The 7 tips were especially useful!

I am very optamistic. This workshop is already giving me a sence of
belonging and power.I believe this porthole will be benificial to me
and to my colleagues; providing an endless source of support, ideas
and possibly new friends all over the world.

I'm really enjoyed the lecture,it had a lot of information that
helped me a lot and got benefit from it .Thanks for all what u did
I really feel that I learnt a lot in a short period of time.
Although, in my opinion we still need time to develop these new
skills. Thank you for a very interesting first session and I’m
looking forward to see the outcome of this project
Lots of thanks to the British council and the specialists. See you
tomorrow

I think that the idea of building an international dimension in
education is essential in today's world. Implementing, monitoring
and getting the most out of this on a whole school level will be the
real challenge, particularly in a school of nearly 2500 students and
over 200 teachers. To realise the full potential of this will affect
some of the school's strategic planning, but even if initially some
students benefit, it is valuable.

Having had very little advanced warning that I was attending this
inservice, I have been pleasantly surprised by its relevance and
potential. I have begun to appreciate the potential benefits to
students from a more dynamic and interesting approach to learning in
a global context. A greater awareness and understanding of
differerent cultures will be essential to future development.
